Complementing her major, Melissa also obtained a minor in Forensic Psychology and focused her studies on Criminal Justice, showcasing her dedication to understanding the intricacies of the legal system.
Born in Fairfax, Melissa spent her formative years growing up in Fauquier County. Her multicultural heritage is a source of pride, being half Guatemalan and Salvadoran. This cultural diversity has not only enriched her life but also influenced her perspective on various issues.
