This October, we proudly partnered with Homeward Trails Animal Rescue to support a special little dog named Kalie. Kalie’s story is both heart-wrenching and inspiring: this 5-pound Chihuahua has endured a lifetime of neglect and a severe lack of medical care. She requires multiple surgeries to alleviate painful hernias and remove deteriorated teeth. Despite these challenges, Kalie is now in safe and compassionate hands thanks to the unwavering dedication of Homeward Trails.
We were deeply moved by Kalie’s resilience and the mission of Homeward Trails. During October, Battlefield Law Group raised $628 to contribute to her medical expenses. To amplify our impact, we added an additional $1,000 donation, helping ensure Kalie receives the care she so desperately needs. Supporting Homeward Trails’ efforts to rescue and rehabilitate animals in need across Northern Virginia is an honor we hold close to our hearts.
This partnership is particularly meaningful to us because Homeward Trails played a pivotal role in rescuing our founder’s beloved dog, Boo. Their mission is personal and deeply resonates with our team.
